Legal

Terms and conditions.

These terms govern your use of BNE Live — browsing events, buying tickets, and using your passes at the door. By creating an account or completing a purchase, you agree to them.

Who can use BNE Live

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

Tickets and orders

  • A ticket is a limited licence to attend the specific event it names — it is not transferable to another event or date.
  • Prices are shown in full, including any booking fee, before you confirm payment.
  • An order is only confirmed once payment has settled and you receive a confirmation with your pass. A pending or failed payment does not reserve a seat.
  • Seat holds are temporary. If you do not complete checkout before a hold expires, the seats are released to other buyers.
  • We may cancel an order and refund it if it was created in error, priced incorrectly, or obtained through misuse of the service.

Entry, passes and check-in

Your pass is single-use and is scanned at the door. Do not share screenshots of it — the first valid scan admits, and any later scan of the same pass will be refused. Event organisers may also apply their own entry conditions, such as age limits or venue rules, and may refuse entry where those are not met.

Refunds, changes and cancellations

If an event is cancelled by the organiser, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. If an event is rescheduled, your ticket remains valid for the new date, and you may request a refund instead. Other refund requests are handled by the organiser of that event, subject to the refund terms shown on the event listing and to your rights under applicable consumer law, which these terms do not limit.

Events are run by organisers

BNE Live provides the platform used to list events, sell tickets and admit attendees. The event itself — the line-up, the venue, the running time and the conditions of entry — is the responsibility of the organiser presenting it. Where we act only as the ticketing platform, our responsibility is limited to the ticketing service we provide.

Acceptable use

  • Do not resell tickets for profit where the event or applicable law prohibits it.
  • Do not use automated tools to buy tickets, scrape the service, or hold inventory you do not intend to purchase.
  • Do not attempt to forge, duplicate, or tamper with a pass, or to access another person's account or booking.
  • Do not interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these rules, and may cancel tickets obtained through such a breach.

Your account and your data

How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy. You can request deletion of your account at any time from account deletion or from within the app. Records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes — such as completed transactions — are retained for as long as the law requires.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may suspend parts of the service for maintenance or for security reasons.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will make that clear before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Contact

Questions about these terms, an order, or an event can be sent to us through the contact details on our site, and we will respond as quickly as we can.
